Angela – Remain in My Immaculate Heart, All of You

Virgin Mary to Angela on November 8, 2024:

This evening the Virgin Mary appeared all dressed in white. The mantle wrapped around her was also white and broad; the same mantle covered her head as well. On her head the Virgin Mary had a crown of twelve shining stars. On her chest, Mother had a heart of flesh crowned with thorns. Her arms were open in a sign of welcome. In her right hand she had a long Holy Rosary, white as light, that went down almost to her feet. In her left hand she had an open book; there was a light breeze that made the pages turn quickly. At this point, Mother brought the open book to her chest, on the level of her heart. The feet of the Virgin Mary were bare and were placed on the globe. The globe was wrapped in a large gray cloud. The face of the Virgin was sad.

May Jesus Christ be praised.

Dear children, I love you, I love you immensely and seeing you here fills my heart with joy.
My children, walk with me on the path of love, open your hearts to love. Remain in my Immaculate Heart, all of you, and you will find peace and serenity.
This evening, with maternal love I pray with you and for you.

My children, I have been showing you the path to follow for a long time, but you do not listen to me. I ask you insistently to form prayer cenacles, not only in homes, but also in churches, but you continue to be lukewarm. Children, please accept this invitation of mine! Pray more, pray with the prayer of the Holy Rosary, pray and walk on the path of good, on the path of love. I beseech you, children, do not sin anymore – sin distances you from God and does not allow you to see the true good. Undertake a true commitment to conversion within yourselves. My heart is torn with pain at seeing that so many resist my maternal invitations. I have been long since repeated to you insistently: “Hard times await you”. (Mother sighs deeply and pauses in silence). Times of pain and confusion – I do not want to frighten you by this, but I only want to prepare you. I am here to save you all, I am here through the immense Mercy of the Father.

At this point the Virgin Mary asked me to pray with her. After praying together, Mother continued the message.

Children, pray hard for my beloved Church, pray that the authentic Magisterium of the Church would not be lost. Pray much for the Vicar of Christ, for bishops and for all priests. Pray, my children, the Church is very persecuted, even internally, but do not be afraid. The forces of evil will not prevail against Her.

Children, pray hard for this place of prayer that is so dear to me; guard it and preserve it. While the Virgin Mary was saying this last sentence, her eyes filled with tears. In conclusion she blessed everyone. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Who are Simona and Angela?
Visionaries of Our Lady of Zaro

The alleged Marian apparitions in Zaro di Ischia (an island near Naples in Italy) have been ongoing since 1994. The two current visionaries, Simona Patalano and Angela Fabiani, receive messages on the 8th and 26th of each month, and Don Ciro Vespoli, who provides spiritual guidance to them, was himself one of a group of seers during the initial phase of the apparitions, before he became a priest. (It is Don Ciro who, at least until recently, would read out the messages written down by Simona and Angela after they emerged from their supposed ecstasies or “resting in the Spirit—riposo nello Spirito“).

The messages from Our Lady of Zaro may not be well known in the English-speaking world, but a case can be made for treating them seriously on a number of grounds. The first is that the diocesan authorities are actively studying them and in 2014 established an official commission tasked, among other things, with collecting testimonies of healings and other fruits associated with the apparitions. The visionaries and their apparitions, therefore, are therefore subject to intense scrutiny, and to our knowledge, there have been no allegations of malpractice. Don Ciro, himself, has pointed out that he could not have been ordained by Msgr. Filippo Strofaldi, who had been following the apparitions since 1999, had the monsignor judged the apparitions either diabolic or the result of mental illness. A third factor in favor of taking the Zaro apparitions/messages seriously is the clear evidence that in 1995, the visionaries had what appears to have been a precognitive vision (published in the magazine Epoca) of the 2001 destruction of the Twin Towers* in New York. (It was this that attracted the attention of the national press to Zaro). As regards the often sobering content of the messages,** there is a striking convergence between them and other serious sources, with no theological errors.

As per the diocesan article bishop, Bishop Carlo Villano of Pozzuoli and Ischia issued a pastoral letter on October 9, 2025, stressing that the apparitions have not been condemned and that diocesan discernment is continuing and findings will eventually be submitted to the Vatican.

Don Ciro Vespoli was one of the original group of seers as an adolescent, and subsequently became a priest. He no longer lives near Zaro but continued to receive and vet the messages.
